Deposit now, balance later
Confirm with a 25% deposit through secure Stripe checkout; the balance is due before your event. Fees, taxes, and your cancellation window are shown before you pay.
Fee transparency (CAD)
- Vendor price, set by each kitchen, shown up front.
- Platform fee, a flat 3.5% of the food subtotal. Its own line at checkout, never hidden, and not charged on delivery.
- Delivery, set by the kitchen, paid by you, kept by the kitchen.
- Taxes, calculated at checkout.
Checkout shows the kitchen as the business providing your food; Let's Get Food is the marketplace. Please confirm allergies and dietary needs directly with the kitchen.
Rewards
- Welcome cashback, your first completed personal order with at least $100 of food earns wallet credit equal to the food amount, up to $200. One per customer; corporate orders and orders using a coupon don't qualify. Credit expires after 365 days.
- Using credit, a later order can use the lesser of your balance, 10% of that order's food, or that order's commission. Doesn't stack with a coupon or points on the same order. The kitchen still receives its full food price.
- Points, 1 point per $1 of food. 100 points = $1 off at checkout.
- Referrals, after your cashback is used, a friend's completed order can earn them 5% off a later order, and you 5% off your next order when they use it. One reward per order.

Is this like Uber Eats?+
No. Let's Get Food is for planned events and catering, not single-meal restaurant delivery. Think weddings, office lunches, and parties booked days or months in advance.
Do I need an account to look around?+
No. You can browse kitchens, packages, and prices as a guest. An account is only needed once you want to book or message a kitchen.
How much do I pay up front?+
Instant-book listings take a 25% deposit at booking, with the balance due before your event. Custom-quote listings let you message the kitchen first. Card details go to Stripe; we never store full card numbers.
What areas do you serve?+

How do payments work?+
Secure checkout via Stripe. You see the full breakdown, service, delivery, taxes, and cancellation terms, before you confirm.
