Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Let's Get Food platform (the “Platform”), including letsgetfood.com and the LGF mobile apps, operated by Let's Get Food Inc. (“LGF”, “we”, “us”), a Canadian corporation. By using the Platform you agree to these terms.
Marketplace role
LGF is a marketplace facilitator. We connect customers who are planning events with independent caterers, restaurants, venues, and other food merchants (“Merchants”). We are not the caterer. Merchants are independent businesses solely responsible for the food, service, licensing, food safety, and fulfillment of any booking.
Bookings
A booking is a contract for services between the customer and the Merchant. LGF facilitates discovery, quoting, communication, and payment, but is not a party to that contract. Customers and Merchants are responsible for their own commitments, representations, and performance.
Fees
LGF charges service fees at checkout and merchant fees to Merchants. All fees applicable to a booking will be shown before payment is confirmed. Payments are processed by Stripe; payouts to Merchants are made in Canadian dollars via Stripe Connect.
Cancellations & refunds
Each booking has a cancellation timeline that is displayed to the customer before payment. Refunds, where applicable, are issued according to that timeline and to the Merchant's stated policy. Certain fees may be non-refundable where clearly disclosed.
Disputes
If something goes wrong with a booking, customers and Merchants should first attempt to resolve the issue directly. LGF offers a support process to help mediate disputes, review evidence, and, where appropriate, issue refunds or chargebacks in line with our policies and the applicable Stripe terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by: attempting to bypass fees or route bookings off-platform, submitting fraudulent or misleading information, harassing other users, scraping data at scale, or interfering with the security or operation of the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Intellectual property
The LGF brand, logo, copy, and design are owned by Let's Get Food Inc. Merchants retain rights to their own menus, photos, and content.
Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, LGF is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of Merchants or customers.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which LGF is domiciled, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
